by pepperheart inin the latest edition of jw boradcasting they were telling you of a huge new complex they will be building these next few years.it will be as big as warwick and only a few miles away,they will make a lot of the films and videos there and 100s of people will live there as well .

A Song to Jehovah's Praise - rejected!
by Terry inas an obedient little jw at age 20, i was serving time in federal prison in the late 60's, and the 40 brothers inside seagoville prison decided to stage our own assembly.i was the music servant.
(we didn't have elders back then.
)the theme of the assembly mimicked the free world assemblies being held outside.long story short:i composed (what i think and everyone else thought was) a very good song titled:following the fine shepherd as the end draws near.we rehearsed it (bros who had instruments) and the consensus revealed it was a winner._____excerpt:"jehovah god above, we owe you all our love; you are our shepherd and we follow you.though satan demands, that we must compromise; we'd sooner face death than be wrong in your eyes.now and forevermore, we fear not satan's roar;you are our shepherd and we follow you.

Thank you all for your experiences. As a teenager I would visit a brother at Springfield MO prison. My parents thought it was a good thing to do in training me for prison when my time came. It scared me to death but by the time I signed up for the draft in 1972 the war was starting to grind down. Also I got a high lottery number so I went from a 1A classification to a 1H which as told to me was a holding position. If the war started to heat up again it would turn back into a 1A. I was lucky they never contacted me again.
My heart goes out to you guys. The one thing that has always angered me is according to the borg we were not allowed to move to Canada. That was not putting our trust in Jehovah. Then in the 1980's those who did were given clemency and allowed back into the US. No criminal record to follow for the rest of their life. Again thanks for your experiences. Take care. if it came to taking a blood transfusion or dying, we were loyal to jehovah and would be a martyr for god.

At the birth of our youngest son we were willing to sacrifice him because of blood stance. He had complications at birth and intensive care doctor was ready to go to court. Our doctor was able to stop it for 24 hours. Luckily he improved during that time and the mater was dropped.
To this day it still runs chills up my spine when I think how indoctrinated I was in the borg. What's is so incredible is he is the one son who left the borg almost 2 years ago and we were with for Christmas this last year. The question that comes up in my mind is "What if it went the other way and he died because of total allegiance to the borg?" A very scary thought. I hate to say it that I was so in. it turns out that “a cord of three strands is stronger” is bullshit and two people in a relationship are perfectly capable of being happy without outside influence.
what a journey i’ve had since leaving 3 and a half years ago!

I know what you mean Pale when you said I can't believe I was once a JW. I have the same feelings and am now a totally different person. Going on 9 years being out from the control of the borg. Happy Alcoholic Jehovah's Witnesses
by The Bethelite infor many years since the witness organization, after i have told people that i'm no longer a jehovah's witness, people would say "oh the religion were people are not allowed to drink!".
"no they drink alright.....they can't do much of anything else but they do drink!".
in fact the first place i ever got drunk was bethel.

It's one thing to have a glass of wine when you want it but it's another when you have to have it everyday especially when you have to have a drink at a certain time of the day. On the construction site we would call it Beer30. That's when anytime between 3-5 in the afternoon workers with a problem had to start having a drink between those hour, usually a 6 pack or two.
I knew many witness friends who had to be home for this. One Ex-CO and his wife were pretty must wasted by by 5pm except on meeting nights. They would wait until they got home. Even having large trash bags full of empty bottles each month for the trash man to pickup. It was a sad site to see. For me never much of a drinker. With ADHD coffee was the drink of choice. Yes, yes, yes we all know trump's dickey is bigger than any other president. He will be known in the future if there is one of starting a war instead of trying to find a peaceful way out. Please stop saying Obama did this and Obama did that. As my teachers in school would say all the time would you jump off a bridge because they did. Trump is president now not Obama so man up and stop blaming others for what he does.
Did he have a bad man killed? Yes! But for what reason? To divert attention from the impeachment trial or to save the world from a bad guy.
